MORE THAN 1500 OPERATORS
COME TO THE GRAMADO FAIR
ON THE FIRST DAY
THE “FITPERÚ 2008” STAND IS PRESENT
Gramado, which is situated in South Eastern Brazil, has once again become a meeting point on the Southern Atlantic Coast between Brazilian and international operators. Here, the International Tourism Fair in Peru is being promoted so more Brazilian tourists will visit Peru.
This stand, whose purpose is to take advantage of this opportunity, captures the attention of tour operators who are interested in expanding their operation in countries on the Pacific Coast. Amongst these countries are Peru and Ecuador, which are constantly presenting the alternatives that they have to offer.
The specialized press that is present at the Serra Park fair grounds does not fall behind, having already requested information from SIPAN. Once the press trip takes place as part of the activities that are programmed for FITPERU 2008, the press will publish reports all over the world. These tourist circuits, which are intended for journalists, start on February 10 and will end on February 23.
They will visit different areas in Peru, especially in the Lambayeque Region and the Northern Amazon. Jaime Rull, the President of Fitperu, enjoyed a meal with the delegations of journalists from Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Italy and the Caribbean following the Inauguration Act. Some of these journalists will come to this international fair in Peru.
During the process, the first participation agreements have been made. GRAMADO has already confirmed their presence at Fitperu 2008. An agreement with EMBRATUR is in process. Up through today, seven operators and press have registered at www.fitperu.org
