FROM FITE TO FITPERÚ 2008:
THE LAST LEG OF THE JOURNEY HAS COMMENCED !!
Yesterday, with “great success” and close to 70,000 visitors, the International Tourism Fair in Ecuador, FITE 2007, which took place from September 6 to 9 in the city of Guayaquil, closed its doors. Today, the same organization starts the last leg of the journey to FITPERU, which will take place from November 3 to 6 in the city of Trujillo, Peru.
The International Tourism Fair in Peru is a new event whose main objective is to promote tourism throughout the country, with special emphasis on improving national and international awareness of northern Peru. The event will be held in the “Capital of the Eternal Spring,” which is known for its colonial, gastronomical and tourism-related excellence. This excellence will, in turn, please the operators, agencies, whole-sellers, hotels, airlines and other tourism-related services that will come together during these four days to negotiate “supply and demand.”
FITPERÚ will become a new icon for the development of tourism, attracting buyers and international press from diverse countries who have registered to participate in diverse activities. Some of these participants will participate in activities like business round tables and others will promote their attractions through programs and articles.
According to Jaime Rull, the event’s Executive President, the fair will be held at EL GOLF, using close to 5,000 m2 for stands, conference rooms and other activities. In this way, the fair will provide space for 150 presenters and delegations from more than 12 countries.
